Questions about the process.

We’re a community bank focused on families, businesses, customers and team members. We were born in Kansas, with a corporate office in Wichita, and we’re located in 50 communities throughout Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Click here for more information about us.

Equity Bank is a community bank that recognizes the importance of local decisions and dedication to our local communities. We’re excited to serve our customers above and beyond our competitors. Just like Bank of Kirksville, Equity Bank is committed to the health, success and families of our employees, customers and communities.

First and foremost, your money is safe and sound, thanks to the FDIC’s guarantee on deposits with a federally-backed and well-capitalized financial institution. You may continue to work with your local bank, and you can continue using your accounts and debit cards as usual. You will receive an Equity Bank Mastercard in the near future, but until then, continue to use your Bank of Kirksville card.

Stop in and see the same familiar faces you’re used to. You can continue to use and access your accounts just as you did before. When our systems have been updated, we will be in contact to provide instructions on how to access your accounts from Equity Bank. To get in touch with us, you can reach our Customer Care Team at (888) 733-5041, weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm and Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm.

As of May 13, 2024, your Bank of Kirksville accounts will become Equity Bank accounts. We expect no service interruptions. Until this time, please continue to use and access your accounts as you always have. You may still use checks until your supply runs out, or through August 30, 2024. You may still bank in the same location and debit card service will be uninterrupted. The only change will be the name of your accounts, as reflected in the table below. For more information about your accounts view our Terms & Conditions here.

Bill Pay using Bank of Kirksville online banking must be completed by 4 pm on May 10. Mobile Deposit transfers will need to be completed by 9 pm on May 9;. Same‑day transfers will be allowed through 4 pm on May 10. Transfers will be restored at 7 am on May 13, at equitybank.com. Starting May 13, 2024, you may enroll in Equity Bank’s digital banking. You may use your previous login ID and password from Bank of Kirksville, if available (though you will have to reset the password after you log in). We’ll ask you to verify your identity after choosing your new password using a text, phone call or email, and that’s it! You’re ready to go. We also recommend downloading the Equity Bank mobile app.

After you have successfully enrolled, your bill pay contacts and associated payment information, including all your recurring payments, will automatically be connected to your Equity Bank account.

Your current electronic transactions, such as direct deposit, automatic payments, and ACH transactions, will be automatically matched and directed to your updated account. Before August 30th, you will need to contact each of the transaction providers to update your information to the Equity Bank routing number 101105354 and your updated account number, if applicable.

You can continue to use your Bank of Kirksville checks through August 30, 2024, or until your supply runs out. In almost all cases, your account number will not change, and Bank of Kirksville checks will be valid until August 30, 2024.

Bank of Kirksville will mail you a final paper statement on or after Monday, May 13.

Enjoy no monthly paper statement charges on your consumer account for 12 months. Customers must enroll in e-statements through Online Banking.

Equity Bank offers complimentary e-Statements on all accounts. Paper statement fee is $5 if added to any checking account.

Equity Bank will review Bank of Kirksville’s current interest rates, and if any changes apply, we will contact you by mail.

No changes will occur with current loan service schedules and agreements. Beginning Monday, May 13, 2024, you will need to begin submitting your payments directly to Equity Bank at the address below, by calling, or through digital banking.

You will continue to see the same features, services, and fees on your account, and we will provide you a list of available accounts and features. One important thing to keep in mind: Equity Bank does not charge ATM fees at any ATM in the continental United States! When an ATM asks an Equity Bank customer to accept the charge, the customer can select accept, and we will suppress those fees.

Absolutely! Your local bank is a key to your community. We will continue – and, in some cases, expand – our community support efforts. You will still see your bank associates at football games, grilling hot dogs, and playing hosts to customer events in their communities. We also intend to keep doing business locally with the service providers, organizations, and community efforts that count on our support.

Watch out for any scams to obtain information by individuals or entities that say they are acting on behalf of American State Bank, Equity Bank, or the FDIC. If you are contacted by anyone requesting personal information from you, please contact the FDIC Call Center to report the incident at 1-800-517-1843.
