Equity Bank Adds Joshua Means as President of Western Missouri Region

Additional promotions in local markets; Kraus joins Sedalia team

WICHITA, Kansas (March 8, 2018) – Equity Bank announces the addition of Joshua Means as President of Equity’s Western Missouri region.

Means began his role on March 5 and will lead Equity’s 10 locations and footprint in Western Missouri, including Clinton, Higginsville, Knob Noster, Sedalia, Sweet Springs, Warrensburg, Warsaw and Windsor. Means will lead Equity’s organic growth, commercial lending, business development, and customer service teams in the region and will contribute to overall market strategy.

Means will be based at Equity’s location in Sedalia at 920 Thompson Boulevard. Means has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry, including the last three years as Vice President of Development at Wesleyan Investment Foundation, in Fishers, Ind., where he helped grow the company’s asset size from $700 million to more than $1.1 billion.

Means began his career in banking, and also served in a market leadership role for four years in Bartlesville, Okla., for Central National Bank, before a short stint as Chief Lending Officer for Union State Bank in Winfield, Kansas, and joined Wesleyan Investment Foundation in 2014. Means also is a 2015 alumnus of Graduate Banking School at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Means is originally from Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and attended Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, Oklahoma.

Western Missouri

Equity Bank announced Doug Larkin was named President of Equity’s Warrensburg market, which includes two bank locations in Warrensburg, a third in Knob Noster, and the bank’s Sweet Springs location. Larkin joined Equity Bank in 2015 as President of Sweet Springs.

Eric Kraus joined Equity Bank in January 2018, and will serve as Vice President and Commercial and Agricultural Loan Officer in the bank’s Sedalia location. Kraus has more than 25 years experience in banking, including specialization in commercial lending and agricultural loans in Missouri.
