Welcome to Equity Bank in Guymon!
"Queen City of the Panhandle," Guymon, OK was founded in the late 1800s along a stretch of railway running from Liberal, KS to Texhoma, TX. The town grew rapidly, becoming the county seat of Texas County when Oklahoma became a state in 1907. Despite the Dust Bowl ravishing the area in the 1930s, Guymon grew as more people entered the area after the discovery of natural gas nearby.
Guymon is home to the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo, a Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame rodeo, drawing hundreds of competitors from across the nation every year, as well as 6 sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
