Equity Bank Adds Mortgage Lenders to Three Markets

Equity Bank has announced the promotion of two mortgage loan officers and the addition of one new mortgage loan officer within its community banking network in Kansas and Missouri.

Kansas City, Mo.

Katie Tholen will begin working as a mortgage loan officer at Equity Bank's Northland Kansas City office at NW 63rd Terrace in the Burlington Creek shopping area. Most recently, Tholen spent 4 years as branch manager of Equity Bank's central Lee's Summit location at 301 Southeast Main.

Tholen has more than 10 years in the community banking industry in various roles and is involved locally in the Hillcrest Transitional Housing Walk for the Homeless, served as Lee's Summit Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Chair in 2015, and is a member of Leadership Lee's Summit Class of 2014. Tholen is a native of Lee's Summit and earned her degree from UMKC.

Higginsville, Mo.

Raygen Lockard is now a mortgage loan officer in Equity Bank's Higginsville branch office, at 1919 Highway 13. Lockard has more than 17 years working the mortgage loan industry, including jobs in processing and sales with then-First Community Bank of Lee's Summit, Mo. and Pulaski Bank.

Lockard most recently served as mortgage loan coordinator, overseeing training of new mortgage lenders in all of Equity Bank's markets, as well as assisting with underwriting and loan processing. She will continue to help oversee training of mortgage lenders.

Lockard is a native of Sweet Springs, Mo. and resides in Higginsville. She attended the University of Central Missouri.

Pittsburg, Kan.

Jonathan Eichhorn has joined Equity Bank Pittsburg as mortgage loan officer, working out of the bank's branch location at 102 N. Broadway. Eichhorn is a native of Pittsburg and previously worked as a district manager for another area financial company with locations in Missouri and Kansas City. He began his career in Pittsburg working in the construction industry.

"Equity Bank is committed to providing the best in mortgage service to our area communities, and Katie, Raygen, and Jon will serve as a great resource to area customers."

Lockard and Eichhorn began work as mortgage loan originators in May and Tholen will transition to her role in June.
