PONCA CITY, Oklahoma (June 20, 2019) – In an effort to ensure continued growth and success in Northern Oklahoma, Mark Detten, Regional President of Equity Bank, 

recently announced the formation of the Equity Bank Regional Board for Northern Oklahoma. This board consists of business and community leaders who are active and

engaged in the community and who want to ensure that Equity Bank remains a viable community bank in the Northern Oklahoma footprint. This board will help oversee the Northeastern and Central parts of Oklahoma.“We are very excited to have our Regional Board in place. They are an exceptional group of leaders and will us ensure we carry on the outstanding banking service we have been known for in northern Oklahoma for many years,” says Detten. Board members will be sought upon to deliver market knowledge,to help grow relationships for the bank, and will help promote Equity’s message of being the local community bank forbusiness owners and consumers in the Kay County and surrounding area. Board members will meet regularly with local and corporate management. The local regional board began meeting in February.

Equity Bank’s Northern Oklahoma Regional Board includes Barry Bickle, Retired Banker, Natalie Fraser, Vice-President of Lindsay Manufacturing, Molly Kyler, Executive Director of Business and Industry Services at Pioneer Technology Center, James Leach, Retired Business Owner & Former Bank Chairman, Adam Leaming, CEO/President of The University Center, and Erik Peitz, Vice-President of Custom Mechanical Equipment and Co-Owner Source Fabrication.
