Equity Bank announces the hires of Chris Riedel, Chris Miskimins and Gena Strathman as bank managers.


Chris Riedel, Vice President, Retail Sales Manager, Wichita

Riedel begins his tenure at Equity Bank after 14 years in customer service roles at Sunflower Bank, most recently as Vice President and Regional Retail Manager based in Wichita. Riedel will lead the retail sales team at Equity Bank’s four Wichita area locations, and will contribute to market strategy and business development. 

A native of Hays, Kansas, Riedel Graduated from Fort Hays State University. Riedel participates in the community through his work as a United Way Young Leader, and also contributes as a fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and Relay for Life. Riedel has participated as a judge for FCCLA, DECA, and LifeSmarts competitions.

Riedel began at Equity Bank in June and is based at Equity’s home office at 7701 East Kellogg in Wichita.

Chris Miskimins, Bank Manager, Wichita

Chris Miskimins joined Equity Bank as Bank Manager of their Waterfront location in Wichita.

Miskimins joins Equity Bank with more than eight years in the financial industry, serving in leadership positions for the last four years for commercial banks in Wichita.

A native of Halstead, Kansas, Miskimins graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in Business Management in 2016. He is active in the community through his membership with Young Professionals of Wichita, supporting networking with individuals growing their careers.
