How do I enroll in Online Banking?
You can enroll in Online Banking by visiting www.equitybank.com and selecting "Enroll" under the personal online banking login information.
What Internet Service Providers can I use?
Equity Bank's Online Banking can be used with any ISP.
What if I have more questions or need additional assistance with my Online Banking?
You may call your local branch and a representative will assist you, or you may call our Customer Service line at (888) 733-5041.
How do I change my Password and Customer ID?
You can change your Password within online banking by selecting "Options" from the top navigation bar and then "Edit." You may also change your security data, email, and security questions and answers. To change your Customer ID, you must call our Customer Service Toll-Free line at (888) 733-5041.
What are the fees for Online Banking?
There are no fees associated with Online Banking. All of our accounts offer Free Online Banking, Free Mobile Banking, and Free Unlimited Online Bill Pay.
Privacy and Security
Why am I asked to set up security questions?
This is an extra security measure to protect against unauthorized use.
Will the system automatically remember my computer?
Click "This is a personal computer. Register it." to remember your computer. Any time history or cookies are deleted you will need to re-register.
I use Online Banking from home and work. Can you remember two different computers?
Yes, however for security reasons we do not suggest this.
Will I have to answer all three questions every time I am challenged?
No, only one security question will be asked per challenge.
Will you always ask the same question first?
No, Online Banking rotates the questions randomly.
What if I don't recognize the Personal Security image that's shown on my screen?
Do not proceed; contact your local banker or customer service at (888) 733-5041.
What if I cannot remember my Personal Security Image or Caption?
You will need to visit your local branch in this case.
How do I choose a Personal Security Image?
One is automatically chosen for you upon first login.
Once I choose a Personal Security Image, can it ever be changed?
Yes, please select "Options" from the top-level navigation bar, and it will be a menu option available for change. Click "Edit" and proceed to select your image.
Can I also change my Security Questions and Answers?
You may also change your Security Questions through the "Options" menu.

How does Equity Bank protect the security of my information?
We use the highest security software available to protect information online.
Can I access my business accounts through Online Banking?
Yes, however, the enrollment process is slightly different for business accounts. The business Online Banking application needs to be completed at a local branch.
How frequently is my account information updated?
Account information is updated in real time.
How do I change my email or mailing address?
You may change your email address through the "Options" menu. Your mailing address must be changed via your local branch or Customer Service at (888) 733-5041.
How do I sign up for E-Statements or change my statement option?
This is in the "Options" menu once you are logged into Online Banking.
How do I get a copy of a check or statement?
To get a copy of a check, you may click on the linked check number, image, or use the "Transaction Search" option. For a statement, from the "Accounts" menu option, click "Statement." Each is printable.
Are there limits to the types of transfers I can do with Online Banking?
No, the transfer regulations differ slightly between account types. With further questions, please contact your local banker or Customer Service at (888) 733-5041.
How much transaction history can I view online?
12 months of transactions are available within Online Banking.
What time of day do transfers occur? When is the latest time I can change or cancel a transfer?
There is a cutoff time of 6 p.m. for a same-day transfer. Transfers are immediate when using the "Express Transfer" option.
Is there a way to save my account information to my computer?
Statements can be saved in a PDF, and our Online Banking is also compatible with finance software such as Quicken, Microsoft Money, Microsoft Excel, and more.
Online Bill Pay
What is Online Bill Pay?
This system enables customers to pay bills from multiple accounts, send expedited payments, and make person-to-person electronic payments quickly and easily. It also allows for single or recurring payments.
Who can I pay using Online Bill Pay?
You can pay companies, individuals, Banks or Credit Unions and make transfers to other accounts.
When is the money withdrawn from my account for the bills that I pay online?
Payments processed electronically will be taken out the day you have set to pay. Payments sent as a check in the mail will be taken out once payment has reached the merchant and they have processed it.
Can I access my Online Bill Pay from any computer?
Yes. Any computer that you can access Online Banking at, you can access your Online Bill Pay.
How long does it take for a payment to reach the recipient?
It depends on how the payment will be processed. Some payments are sent as a check in the mail and some are sent electronically. When setting up the payment you will choose the process date and beside that will be a calendar with the "Estimated Arrival Date." When payments are sent through the mail as a check, there is a slight delay. Make sure to consult the calendar within Online Bill Pay, it will confirm for payments sent and received.
How much Online Bill Pay history can I view online?
The current storage duration is 18 months. Payments made longer than 18 months ago are not available to view.
When can I schedule a payment?
As long as you can access Online Banking, you can access Bill Pay and schedule payments. Please note that for same-day payment processing in Online Bill Pay, 4 p.m. is the cutoff time. If you schedule the payment after 4 p.m., it will be processed the following day.
What are E-Bills?
Certain merchants have the capability to deliver E-Bills right to your Online Bill Pay account. E-Bills present the information you need to pay your bill on time, including the amount due, due date, and unpaid balance. You may continue to receive detailed paper bills by either mail or email when you register for E-Bills. You may also customize E-Bill service to receive email alerts when we receive the E-Bill. All previous E-Bills are maintained online for up to 18 months.
What accounts can I access with Mobile Banking and what features can I view?
You can access any account to which you have ownership: checking, savings, Money Markets, CDs, and loans. Mobile Banking with Equity Bank makes your everyday banking activities convenient.

What kind of device can I use for Mobile Banking?
At this time cellular phones are the only way to access Mobile Banking. Tablets are not supported, although you may use your tablet to access Online Banking through your mobile browser.
How do I start using Mobile Banking?
Login to your Online Banking, click on the "Options" tab, "Mobile Banking Profile," and "Enroll Now." Follow the prompts to finish the enrollment process.
How secure is Mobile Banking?
Equity Bank's Mobile Banking uses device recognition technology and encrypt mobile banking data, in addition, at this time Equity Bank's Mobile Banking app is only available through private download.
What should I do if I lose my mobile device?
In the event that you lose your mobile device, login to your Online Banking and click on the "Options" tab, "Mobile Banking Profile," and "Manage Devices." From here you can stop using the mobile banking service on that device.
What if I forget my password?
Call your local Equity Bank or our Customer Service line at (888) 733-5041 and we will walk you through reset and recovery.
What is the difference between Mobile Banking and Online Banking?
Some functions can be done online but not on your mobile device. These include changing your contact information, resetting your User Name or Password, and setting up payees for account payments.
How do I access Mobile Banking?
Mobile Banking can be accessed either by Text Message or the downloadable application. To receive the application, please enroll in Mobile Banking after logging into Online Banking, and you will be prompted to select options and receive a link to download by text message. You can also take advantage of the mobile weblink option that can be saved to your phone for easier mobile access.
What information do you collect from my mobile phone and how is it used?
We do not collect information about your calls, nor any personal information other than your number and device information such as phone model and carrier. This information simply helps us ensure that you are the person accessing your account, and it may also be used for fraud detection.
Does Equity Bank charge me for Mobile Banking?
Equity Bank does not charge you for using Mobile Banking, but message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
Can I use Mobile Banking to locate ATMs and banks?
Yes, the Equity Bank app will use your current location, and the built-in GPS technology will locate ATMs and banks near you. You can also search by entering a ZIP code or address.
If you are accessing Online Banking via the website from your mobile phone, it will depend on the device and mobile Web browser being used. For example, the Safari browser configures GPS location settings automatically. For more information about this, please refer to your mobile device's GPS compatibility and Web browser settings.
