Becker named Northland manager, Hesse rejoins in Sedalia
Mary Becker joins Equity Bank as assistant vice president and branch manager of its Northland Kansas City branch.
Becker will oversee daily operations and customer service personnel at Equity Bank's NW 63rd Terrace location. Becker also will contribute to business development and branch strategy for the Kansas City metro area. Equity Bank has 8 branch offices in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
A veteran of the Kansas City community banking industry, Becker joins Equity Bank after nine years as banking center manager for the Bank of Blue Valley in Shawnee, Kansas, managing customer service after serving as Deposit Operations Manager and BSA Officer for then-Western National Bank before its merger with BBV. Prior to that, she worked as mortgage originator for Country Club Bank and branch manager for Bank of America.
Becker is a graduate of the University of Kansas, and has been involved in the community with the Shawnee Chamber of Commerce, the Asian American Chamber of Commerce, and NAIA. Equity Bank will host a welcome open house for Becker in March.
Hesse rejoins Equity Bank as Mortgage Lender in Sedalia
Jean Hesse rejoins Equity Bank as mortgage lender, after 25 years of banking experience in the Sedalia market. She'll be responsible for developing and managing mortgage loans, specializing in VA, FHA, and rural development loans, as well as traditional and conventional loan programs. Hesse previously worked as a mortgage loan originator for First Community Bank in Sedalia, which became Equity Bank in 2012.
Hesse has more than 30 years in the banking industry, including positions as teller, consumer lender, branch manager, and mortgage lender.
